70 Days until Boston

Have mat, will travel.

178 pounds (5 pounds gained from super bowl cheat day!) less than 7 hours of sleep.

Only did one set of the core workout coach gave me.  Managed to pull a muscle in my lower back and that made core work a bit useless because I couldn’t really lift my legs.  It’s not a bad pull.  More like I slept on it wrong.  It will be gone by tomorrow.

I did do my stretching routine, the yoga and a set of pushups.  That yoga lady has a very optimistic opinion of how flexible my hamstrings are.  Whenever she says “exhale and fold” I just look around like an idiot because I can’t.  But I did get a good stretch in and opened up the hips a bit. Felt good to stretch out.  I’m so stiff from yesterday and last week.

That big week and yesterday’s long run took a lot out of me.  I was very sore last night.  Moving around the house like an old man.  All I had to do was watch another super bowl.  Not a lot of effort there.

Coach gave me a nostalgic hard floor core routine video by his ex-wife Diane.  She passed away last week.  She lives on in that video.  Causing core failure among all of us.

I had a bunch of sausages and chicken wings and dip yesterday.  Also had 3 good craft beers.  It shouldn’t set me back too far.  Back on the wagon today.

This will probably be a step back week.
