30 Day Diet Reboot Day 20
January 20, 2018, 180.8 Pounds, 11.7% body fat.

Second day of switching to more protein I got some of the classic ‘protein diet’ symptoms. Dry mouth, constipation and a general solid feeling. Was a busy day. Ate fruit throughout the day. Had some beets and wild rice for lunch – was running low on salad provisions late in the week.
Grocery run today.
It was a rest day in my training. Not many calories burned.
Had a poker party with my wife’s work friends in the evening. Grabbed a handful of peanuts and a Cliff bar for dinner – on the run. Avoided the chips and deserts. Had a handful of baked, stuffed jalapenos. Not much I could do about it. Waited a good bit but finally broke down and had a beer.
I must tell you I have cravings for a good craft beer on a Friday night.
All in all, I’m calling it a win.
Today is another rest day. Tomorrow I’m doing a 5k time trial. We’ll see how the legs feel after 20 days of clean eating.
