It was a bit frustrating to jump on the scale this morning and see no progress. I ate clean yesterday. Am I doing something wrong? I feel fine and have good energy but the numbers are stuck.
Part of it is that I’m weighing myself when I get out of bed in the morning, before the poop. My biorhythms have settled into a new pattern.
The most efficient way for me to run my day is to go straight into the office, workout and shower up for work. This means I’m only making a cup of tea to sip on the way to work. I still cook my oatmeal, but I don’t eat it. I throw it into a container and toss it into my backpack for after my workout.
Without the coffee and breakfast to prime the pump. Things sort themselves out by the time I get to the gym. It’s a good rhythm.
It’s also a light week for me. Not my usual burn rate.
Didn’t sleep great last night. Woke up from the cough (still have this nagging cold) around 1:30. Dog decided to go out at 4:30. Ce’st la vie suburban.
Brought some rice yesterday so I could eat something more substantive around 4:00pm at work. I was finding that just the fruit was making me ravenous.
It’s all good. I’m grateful. I’m healthy. I would like to see more progress.
